STAT 200 - Statistics (3 credit hours) Offered in Fall, Winter, Summer Terms (3-0-0) A beginning course in statistics for students majoring in fields using measurements and predictions. Topics include organization of data, measures of central tendency and dispersion, probability, types of distributions (binomial, normal, ‘t’ and chi-square), sampling, testing hypotheses, point and interval estimations, regression and correlation.
