ARTS 231 - Survey Of Glass Techniques II (3 credit hours)
Offered in Winter Term (3-0-0)
An advanced studio-based continuation of the fundamental methods, practices, and principles of glass work. Students further explore the themes outlined in ARTS 230, including processes of embossed, etched, slumped and fused glass techniques, along with kiln cast, assembled, and cold glass work. Contemporary and historical research will be a necessary component in the formulation of personal style. A final portfolio will exhibit each student’s body of work.
