ARTS 230 - Survey Of Glass Techniques I (3 credit hours) Offered in Fall Term (3-0-0) A studio-based introduction to the fundamental methods, practices, and principles of glass work. Students will explore: building a visual vocabulary, working through basic glass techniques, and best studio practices. Topics include: the elements and principles of art and design, torch work, kiln procedures, glass blowing, along with contemporary and historical research.
