NUR 270 - Complex Care Concepts (11 credit hours) Offered in Winter Term (6-0-15) Assimilates the concepts within three domains of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Emphasis is placed on the concepts of fluid/electrolytes, metabolism, perfusion, mobility, stress/coping, violence, health-wellness-illness, professional behaviors, caring interventions, managing care healthcare systems and quality improvement. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to provide quality individualized entry level nursing care to a group of patients.
