CIS 140 - Introduction To Unix (3 credit hours) Offered in Fall Term (2-2-0) This is an in-depth course on the UNIX/Linux operating systems, which are widely used on the Internet and large corporate networks worldwide. Topics include learning the command syntax of the UNIX/Linux operating systems, text editing, file processing, and the file and directory structure of a UNIX/Linux-based computer.
