Associate of Science (AS) with MTA Transfer

The Associate of Science, Concentration in Biology, degree is for students who plan to pursue a bachelorʼs degree in a biological science field.
A student must successfully complete at least 30 credits, with at least a 2.0 in each course, to fulfill the Michigan Transfer Agreement (MTA).

AND
Choose two (2) courses from two (2) different Humanities and Fine Arts categories

Choose two (2) courses from two (2) Social Science categories

These two (2) courses satisfy the Natural Sciences requirements of MTA and are also part of the Pathway requirements
Choose one (1) Mathematics course
(BIO 151 and CEM 121 are also part of the pathway requirements. They are listed above in MTA and will satisfy both areas.)
Take an additional 5-7 credit hours to total 60 hours. These 5-7 hours can be any course 100 level or higher not taken above. Electives should be chosen carefully.
