Today’s manufacturing professionals need to understand the fundamentals of technology and tooling on manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Technology Certificate equips students with the skills and techniques needed for employment in today’s highly technical manufacturing environments. Graduates from the North Central Certificate in Manufacturing Technology program are in demand and have an array of options to choose from upon graduation.
This program prepares students to enter directly into the manufacturing industry. Career opportunities for graduates include: tooling operations, machine operations, manufacturing and engineering operations, CNC operations, and general manufacturing. The certificate program provides students with hands on projects that include creating National lnstitute for Metalworking Skills projects for students to obtain certifications.
*Open Entry/Self-Paced: North Central offers some Manufacturing Technology courses in an open-entry (OE) self-paced format. This format enables students to start courses after the first semester and work at a pace agreed upon by the student and the instructor. Open lab time is scheduled for daytime
and evening access to facilitate student work schedules.
