The AAS degree in Criminal Justice prepares students for employment opportunities in law enforcement, the courts or corrections. Students who demonstrate math competency are exempt from the mathematics requirement. Employee drug testing is the norm in this line of work. Medical screenings are required prior to employment. Law enforcement and corrections require training academy completion prior to State of Michigan certification.
