DHY 103 - Dental Anatomy (1 Credit Hour) Offered in Fall and Winter Terms (1-0-0) This course introduces the basic anatomy of the head, neck, and oral cavity with a focus on tooth form, function, numbering systems, and occlusion. Students will learn the names and relationships of primary and permanent teeth, jaw positions, and key anatomical landmarks. Hands-on activities include drawing or carving anatomically accurate molars and incisors to reinforce tooth morphology and develop manual dexterity. This course provides essential preparation for students entering dental hygiene or dental assisting programs.
