DHY 250 - Periodontics II (3 Credit Hours) Offered in Fall Terms (3-0-1) This advanced course develops clinical reasoning and critical thinking in the management of periodontal patients. Students will focus on diagnosis, risk assessment, treatment planning, and evaluation of surgical and nonsurgical therapies. Through analysis of complex cases and evidence-based strategies, students will formulate individualized care plans that integrate biomedical science, clinical skills, and ethical decision-making within comprehensive dental hygiene practice.
