DHY 122 - Dental Embryology and Histology (3 Credit Hours) Offered in Winter Terms (3-0-0) This course explores the development, microscopic structure, and gross anatomy of the oral cavity and associated structures, emphasizing their clinical relevance to dental hygiene practice. Students will learn the developmental processes of the face, oral cavity, and teeth; identify key histological and anatomical landmarks; and analyze how abnormalities in development or structure affect patient care.
