HE 140 - Introduction to Public Health (3 Credit Hours)

Students will be introduced to the profession of Public Health and its many facets including the history of Public Health and the profession’s ethics and values that support it. Students will explore areas of practice, associated theories and develop an awareness of the many public health issues that impact individuals, increase well-being, prevent disease, and improve population-based health.
