HST 250 - World History I (3 credit hours) Offered in Fall Term (3-0-0) A look at different world regions from prehistoric origins through the 17th century. Social, economic, cultural, and political factors will be discussed as they relate to human progress. A majority of this course will focus on non-European regions (Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America). Of particular interest will be contact among societies of the non-western and western worlds, and the development of their interactions and relationships over time.
