MATH 095 - Beginning Algebra Preparation (3 credit hours) Offered in Fall and Winter Terms (3-0-0) Designed to provide students the assistance and skills necessary to successfully complete a Beginning Algebra (MATH 109) course taken during the same semester. Supports students as they progress through MATH 109 with one-on-one workshopping, collaborative learning in small groups, and assignments and/or projects tailored to build and support skills necessary for completion of the credit bearing college level algebra course. This course is offered on a Pass-Fail basis and does not count toward graduation. Students must earn 75% or better to pass.
