ARTD 160 - Digital Video I (3 credit hours) Offered in Fall terms and Winter Terms, Even years only (3-0-0) A studio-based introduction to the fundamental methods, practices, and principles of digital videography and filmmaking. Students explore: connections between traditional and contemporary media; visual communication strategies; story development; the psychology of mediated experiences; and the history of film. Topics include the elements and principles of design, time-based media theory, production management, hardware and software components, and contemporary and historical research.
