ENG 130 - Introduction To Literature (3 credit hours)

An introduction to the major genres of literature: fiction, poetry and drama. This course considers the elements of literature including narrative style, plot, structure, characterization, symbolism and conflict. Emphasis is on developing a fundamental understanding and enjoyment of literature as well as an introduction to literary analysis.
