MATH 126 - Mathematics For Elementary Teachers II (3 credit hours)

The second of a two-course sequence designed for students majoring in elementary education. Topics include probability, statistics and data analysis, and geometry (concepts and measurement, constructions and transformations). Emphasis is placed on the use of physical representations (manipulatives) for teaching mathematics.
PREREQUISITE(S): MATH 125 (or equivalent) with a grade of “C” or higher.
